Fluent Cargo, a fast-growing and cutting-edge routing solutions provider, has secured a significant partnership with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. This collaboration will see Hellmann Worldwide Logistics expand its service offering by integrating Fluent Cargo’s innovative multimodal technology for freight planning and routing, with a strong focus on sustainability and CO2 reduction.

Established in 2021, Fluent Cargo has quickly made a name for itself with its revolutionary platform for freight routing and planning. The Fluent Cargo platform allows shippers to input an airport, seaport, city, or country and instantly view a variety of route options and carriers.

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, the German headquartered company operating in 57 countries with 243 branches and over 12,000 employees worldwide, has partnered with Fluent Cargo to upgrade its global supply chain offering in the Smart Solutions Product SmartAir!, the innovative tool for real-time monitoring of air freight movements and their CO2 emissions.

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics will utilise the technology for its SmartAir! users to decide on the best air freight route for their unique needs, expediting the requirement to search routes and schedules on a number of different platforms.

The Fluent Cargo data will enable Hellmann’s customers to be more proactive in air freight planning, and users will be able to lower carbon footprints and lead times based on smarter, more informed decisions.

Fluent Cargo’s technology aims to optimise the planning and scheduling of the movements of international shipments and simplify the entire process for Hellmann Worldwide Logistics and its SmartAir! customers.

By utilising accurate data, Fluent Cargo dynamically advises and educates global shippers on route planning options for all major carriers, allowing users to make more informed decisions based on their specific needs. Fluent Cargo displays multiple route options, single or multiple combinations of modes of transport along with transit times, carrier information, and detailed specifics including the type of plane or ship used or capacity from thousands of service providers.

We are excited to be able to expand our platform to include a completely new type of use with the integration of Fluent Cargo’s data. By offering the new routing planning tool next to our existing shipment tracking and reporting function in SmartAir!, we cover a new part of the supply chain which gives our users the ability to be more proactive. With continued supply chain disruptions and changing trade limitations, the Fluent Cargo data allows users to plan logistics strategies in advance and help avoid supply chain problems. The technology also helps us to commit to our company vision on CO2 emission transparency, empowering customers to find the most environmentally friendly trade lanes to transport their goods.

To partner with a major global logistics leader in Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is an exciting progression for Fluent Cargo in our mission to simplify cargo transportation for shippers and logistics service providers worldwide. Disruptions to global transport has driven the need for more agile and intelligent tools, which is why our platform exists. By using Fluent Cargo’s data, SmartAir! users will be able to make smarter, more efficient and more environmentally friendly decisions.
