Yes, Fluent Cargo is designed and built for the cargo industry. While we do provide some routes and schedules that utilize passenger airlines, we do not provide passenger routes or bookings.
No, we are not a freight forwarder. We are a pre-shipment, routing and schedules platform.
No, we are a pre-shipment route planning platform. We do not provide cargo shipment booking capabilities through our platform.
We do not provide direct or instant rates. However, if you are looking for a freight quote, you can use our “Get A Quote” feature. Please see the Shipping Quotes section below for any additional questions on this topic.

Schedule Search
We gather shipping and airline schedules from all major (and many minor) service providers. You can then access all the different schedule options in once place.

We are constantly expanding our schedule coverage and acknowledge that there will be gaps from time-to-time. If you are aware of a service, schedule or carrier that we are missing, please let us know so we can add it in!
We update our data with the latest vessel locations every day. We use this data in combination with schedule data to determine where a vessel is and where it should have been at that time. This data allows us to provide insights into whether a vessel is currently on-time (as per its published schedule) or potentially delayed.
We have schedules for all major ocean and air freight service providers as well and many of the smaller ones. These include steamship lines such as MSC, Maersk, Sealand,COSCO, Eimskip, HMM, Evergreen, Unifeeder, Hamburg Sud, and air cargo operators such as Cargolux, Polar Air, Korean Air, Lufthansa, Air China Cargo, Turkish Airlines and UPS Airlines.
Yes, this feature is available to Team and Pro account users. You can search by date range in the Schedules view by clicking on the "Arrive/Depart" drop down.
Shipment Tracking
Fluent Tracking has connections to over 75 Shipping lines with milestone updates occuring every 2-4 hours. This includes live vessel tracking (when available) as well as port level milestones so you can see when your containers were loaded and discharged.
Yes, Fluent Cargo gives each plan some included shipments for free as part of the annual subscription. If you need to track more than this amount on a regular basis, please contact us to organise a custom quite tailored to your needs.
(Coming soon) You can also buy one-off topups through our platform which allows you to purchase adhoc shipment tokens to use as needed if you do not want to commit to specific monthly volume.

Simply input your Container Number for ocean shipments, or Airway Bill Number (AWB) for air shipments to start tracking your shipment.
- Your container number is the 4 letter Carrier Code + the 7 digit Container Number. e.g. MSDU1234567
- Your AWB (Airway Bill Number) is the tracking number provided by the airline and will be clearly listed on your booking confirmation.
Yes! Fluent Cargo allows you to track single shipping containers as one-off events. You simply need:
- To sign up for a Basic Plan
- Go to the Tracking App
- Enter your Container number to see where it is!
There is no long term commitment and we'll keep tracking your container and providing you with updates as long as you have an active subscription.
Yes! Fluent Cargo does offer custom contracts for bulk container tracking. Whilst you get 25 included in your plan for free every month, you can always contact us to enquire about enterprise level container tracking options.
Plans & Pricing
We accept all major credit cards, including VISA, MasterCard, AMEX and more. We offer other custom billing solutions on enterprise plans.
Yes. You can upgrade and pay a pro-rata amount on your new plan.
You can either cancel your subscription completely through your dashboard or reduce limits (users, searches etc) and then switch back to a free plan.
If you exceed any of your current plan limits (for example, route searches), you will receive a notification. You won't be able to perform that action again until your billing cycle resets or you upgrade your plan.
Our free plan lets you access most of our features, just with lower limits on searches and users. If you want to try the Team or Pro+ plans, contact us and we'll arrange a trial for you.
You can subscribe for just 1 month. Cancel at any time, and you'll retain full access to your plan until the end of your billing cycle.
Yes, we offer enterprise plans to customize our product to your needs. If you would like to learn more, please contact us here.

We do not store any of your payment information. All payments are handled directly and securely through Stripe.

Shipping Enquiries
No, we don’t directly provide quotes for shipping cargo as we are not a freight forwarder. We work with forwarding partners and will try to refer your quote to one of our partners if they are able to assist with your shipping enquiry.
No, we do not provide immediate pricing. If we are able to refer your quote to a forwarding partner, they will directly reach out directly to you to quote the shipment.
Yes, if we are unable to refer your quote to a forwarding partner, you will be notified.
There are several reason we may reject a quote including but not limited to the following: 1. Your shipment is small and would probably be best handled by a service like DHL, FedEx, UPS or others who specialise in smaller international shipments. Our Freight Forwarding partners are focused on larger volume and/or high frequency shipments. 2. You have not provided all of the necessary details to allow our system to allocate your enquiry to a Freight Forwarder with the relevant expertise. 3. Sometimes, we simply don't yet have a partner with expertise in the shipment you're doing. We're working hard to increase our network of partners, but the process takes a while as we need to check their reputation, verify that they belong to a recognised trade body, and ensure that they will handle the enquiries we forward them with a high degree of customer service.
